Im going to start a job at a pet store and………..?
I was wondering what its like if anyone ever worked with animals, what I should do and some tips.
I was kinda bummed that they didnt have dogs, but I remembered about the puppy mills and now I cant wait to start!
So what do you guys think? I have a long history in animals. My family is in the circus but my mom made us take a break for school, but until I go back I want to get a job with this pet store. So I know almost everything about Exotic, and Domestic animals up the ying yang like everything from hamsters to sharks. Espeacially the animals they have in there, I have been going there since I was a liitle girl, so I know the area, its close to home, I have had every animal they have in there, and I know alot about products.
So any tips or do’s and dont’s?

One of my first jobs was working at a pet store. The 8′ Boa got out and it took us 2 weeks to find it; when it slithered out from behind the books in the office library.
One time we came in and found a kitten inside a bird cage – still can’t figure out how that happened.
You have to clean EVERYDAY. Learn about the care of the animals because customers come in with lots of questions. Be careful cleaning saltwater tanks – saltwater conducts electricity really well and I have shocked myself more than once on the lights.
Make sure you close the cages tightly – especially the tank with the crickets in it – they get out set off our security alarm several times.
